I am a running as a delegate, but that is not why I’m sharing this. I am sharing this for you and all Mainers…
I see an opportunity in this moment – I hope this leads to us building a movement around US, the Mainers that believe in caring for others, in equality and justice and interconnectedness. We are hiring someone to represent us and what we care about. And we need to engage in this process. So I have pulled together a video and some important ways you can get engaged. IMPORTANT KEY INFO (and these are updates also):
BEFORE your County Meeting (dealing for 7/16 was lifted): fill out the form to pre-register to vote on your delegates at your county meeting to select your county delegates.
July 18/19: county meetings will select their delegates via vote (no discussion, just voting for delegate we think based on their 250-word statements).
Cumberland County Meeting will be at 2PM (sign in at 2, meeting starts at 4) on Saturday July 18th.

Learn how voting for your delegates will work. It currently appears that you can vote for up to the number of delegates and alternatives that your county is allocated (149+ for Cumberland County).
July 25: delegates will select the nominee at the special convention in Bangor Maine.

Regardless of whether I’m selected as a delegate, I feel passionate about ALL of your delegates in ALL counties representing Mainers and the best interest of Maine, especially defeating Susan Collins.
